Web Design, eCommerce, Brand Identity and Positioning
Morecambe Bay Shrimps are a legendary local delicacy. The client had a successful business, and an existing website, but the site had unfortunately become badly broken and was rather neglected.
Brand Awareness
Whilst being famous for Morecambe Bay Shrimp, the client actually sells a variety of foods; from pre-prepared dishes, to fresh butchered cuts of meat. Our aim was to demonstrate the breadth of their offering, while ensuring that the site was kept easy to navigate for the customer. We used some theming to help split categories and introduced a mixed navigation allowing customers to navigate to relevant products with ease.
Web Design and eCommerce
The decision was made to present the products in a prepared or cooked state – we assisted the client in sourcing good quality stock photography demonstrating just how good the products would look when served at home.
We created a brand identity from their existing logo and designed and built a WordPress site using Woocommerce, giving their excellent products both an online identity and an effective sales portal.
The Final Result
Bolstered by the existing awareness of their key product, Morecambe Bay Shrimps, the development of the new site really helped the client realise the potential of their business online.
