What We Did
Branding, web design and development
Ford House is a Grade 2 listed property in the heart of Cartmel Village which offers luxury self-catering accommodation for up to 10 people.
The owners approached us to refresh their branding, update their photography and develop a new bespoke website to showcase their stunning property and take bookings.
Bespoke Web Design
The new website was a bespoke design for the client and started from a blank canvas. An initial review of the brand took place which resulted in the logo being refreshed and updated along with a colour palette and typography guidelines. This allowed for total brand consistency throughout the website.
The site was custom developed in WordPress without the use of templates making it completely unique to the client. Subtle animated features have also been used throughout the website giving it a sleek and modern feel. A booking system plug-in was implemented and configured for the owners to easily receive booking requests.
Photography and Art Direction
We project managed the photoshoot allowing us to create a shot list for the photographer to use on the day. This allowed us to ensure that every image required for the website was taken on the shoot.
We used our recommended photographer Lee John Mann for this photoshoot who was able to portray the property perfectly through his stunning photography.
The End Result
The finished website showcases Ford House as a smart and classically luxurious property in the beautiful town of Cartmel. As with all of our websites full training was given at the point of handover so the client could confidently access booking requests and edit content if required. We pride ourselves on excellent communication and are always on hand for any ongoing website queries post-launch.
