Bred's Foods/ROAR

What We Did

Branding, web design and development

Bred’s Foods are a catering company, specialising in the creation and supply of pre-prepared, ready-to-cook products. They have a well established wholesale arm to their business, but were keen to develop a direct sales model, allowing them to open up their range of baked goods including brownies and pizza doughs for delivery direct to customers.

Our brief was to make some minor adjustments to their existing Woocommerce website, then create a marketing campaign to build awareness and generate sales.

Website UI and Photography

We started by making some basic UI adjustments on their existing site, aimed at removing any potential barriers to conversion. To improve UX on the site and to aid the marketing campaign, we advised the client to commission a photoshoot. We briefed the shoot based on our needs, then the products were sent to Lee John Mann Photography, who managed the shoot at home – both cooking and shooting the food on the day! We felt the results were amazing, and allowed us to really demonstrate the quality of the products to potential customers.

ROAR Brand Identity

Bred’s also have a sister company, ROAR. The ROAR brand specialises in high protein frozen snacks, designed for the fitness market. An existing brand was already in place, but the client was keen for us to develop the brand identity and to assist with positioning and visual presentation. We created a bespoke colour palette and typography set, then again used Lee John Mann Photography to produce a series of visuals built around the brand and product packaging, designed for use across the client’s website and a variety of marketing purposes.

Marketing, Campaign Structure & Split Testing

We worked with them on their marketing, setting up a campaign structure along with analytics and conversion metrics. We also worked on creating facebook audiences to match their target customer base. We split-tested the adverts and closely monitored them, to ensure that the client’s budget was being spent in the most effective way.
