Boutique Sheds came to us with an existing self-catering cottage in Cartmel, Cumbria; The Old Roller Shed. They was in the process of renovating a new luxury self-catering property, close to the existing one, and liked the idea of creating a site with a booking system that would combine the two properties.
We came up with the brand name and identity of Boutique Sheds, Cartmel. The client had just commissioned a wrought iron room divider from local artist Chris Bramall, which included a tree as part of it’s design – we incorporated this into our brand concept while focusing the brand positioning on the high end, luxury feel of the properties.
The site was designed bespoke for the client from a blank canvas. Our strategy was to lead with photography, demonstrating the stunning quality of the properties visually, all whilst maintaining a strong sense of brand and a cohesive user experience.
The site was then custom developed in WordPress without the use of plugins or templates, making it lightning fast, easy to edit and built around the customers’ needs.
